Friday, 22 February, 2019 - 14:00 to 15:20
MacLaren Stuart Room (G159), Old College Central Area

This event is available to: , , , .

What does the delicate wing of a bee look like up close? Or the structure of a fungus? Join biologists to use different types of microscope to look closer at samples from biological research and nature. Then, express your scientific observations in a different way: create a collage in a giant petri-dish or a marbled art-work of your favourite sample or close up detail.

For age 16 and above. Open to everyone: members of the public and University staff and students (esp. those who are not biologists!). If you are not a University of Edinburgh staff or student, please e-mail janet.paterson@ed.ac.uk to book.

This event may be photographed and/ or recorded for promotional or recruitment materials for the university and University approved third parties. For further information please contact the organiser.
