The event is split over two venues:

6:30pm-8pm Main University Library at George Square, Teaching Room 1.11.

8pm-10pm Teviot Loft Bar.

In January 2019, we brought together 10 scientists and 10 artists to create a piece of art on a postcard. Hosted by InterSci and ASCUS Art & Science, Art & Science on a Postcard was a networking and hands-on workshop for artists and scientists to exchange knowledge and ideas and to get creative with science.

The work created will culminate in a pop up exhibition on Monday the 18th of February in the University of Edinburgh main library which will form part of the Festival of Creative Learning 2019 (18th-22nd February).

To celebrate the launch of the exhibition on Monday 18th February we are hosting a discussion between some of the artists and scientists who took part. Find out about their experience of working together, the challenges and the surprises of bringing the two disciplines together.

The discussion will take place in the Main University Library at George Square, Teaching Room 1.11.
