EqualBITE Writing Workshop - Gender Equality at UoE

EqualBITE – A Recipe Book for Gender Equality in Higher Education

We are creating a ‘recipe book’ which aims to share practical and effective strategies for creating more gender balanced working environments in higher education. The recipes will be written by The University of Edinburgh staff and students, drawing from their real life experiences.

So whether you are staff or student, please come to our writing workshop and share your recipe for how we can better achieve gender equality at The University of Edinburgh!

Your recipe might be chosen to be published in the EqualBITE open access book of recipes, case studies and articles, that we will be publishing in January 2017. The book to be produced is not a glossy politically correct version of Edinburgh’s successes in gender equality. Instead it is intended to be a frank exploration of the messy reality!

Find out more about the project by emailing equal.bite@ed.ac.uk or go to our website or twitter

The project is being run by Prof Judy Robertson, School of Education; Lara Isbel, Institute for Academic Development, Silje Graffer, Institute for Academic Development and Alison Williams, an external consultant.
